Structural Firefighting
Cove Creek Fire Department is committed to Structural Firefighting as well as prevention. This is the primary focus of any Fire Department, and we take it very seriously. We respond to calls inside of our district, as well as provide mutual aid to other departments when needed.
Medical Response
Cove Creek Fire Department has a State Certified First Responder Group. We have many NC State Certified EMT-Basic members. We respond to medical calls as primary care until the Watauga Medics arrive to provide Advanced Life Support. The First Responders respond to both medical calls, as well as rescues and automobile accidents.
Wildland Firefighting
Cove Creek Fire Department is highly involved in Wildland Firefighting and prevention. We have two “strike teams” ready and able to respond to a call. We respond to calls inside of our district, as well as provide mutual aid to other departments when needed.
